This is a very unique and rare Victorian choker necklace. The faded gold tone metal is engraved with floral and filigree designs. The gems are a light blue and likely paste given the era. The clasp finding is what is so rare and unique. It is tube mechanism that twists and latches into place, similar to a barrel lock. The necklace is in excellent condition and shows minor signs of wear and tarnish from age.
