Vintage 1960s Priscilla of Boston Ivory Wedding Gown with Statement Collar and Watteau Train
This is a lovely vintage 1960s Priscilla of Boston wedding gown with a high collar and Watteau train details. This gown has its original designer Priscilla of Boston tag and is a lovely soft ivory tone. The dress is adorned with alencon lace, iridiscent sequins, and pearlescent beads in a starburst/floral pattern. This gown features a sculptural statement high collar that continues to the back. The short, cap sleeves are unlined for a subtly sheer detail. The empire waist gives way to the streamlined organza skirt with lace dotted down the front. For added drama, the back of the piece includes a detachable Watteau train comprised of organza that has been folded over to give the appearance of two layers. The train attaches with metal hook and eyes and there is a section of lace on the back of the gown that hides these components when the train is off. This dress closes in the back via a plastic ivory zipper. This gown is in absolutely excellent condition with no signs of wear or age to note. This piece is a real show stopper that will add mod drama to your special day.
