This is a beautiful vintage 1950/60s pink dusty rose silk chiffon party dress with gold, orange, green, and pink beaded details. The bodice features a soft scoop neckline and long sleeves that are intricately embellished with crystals, beads, sequins, rhinestones, and velvet yarn details in gold, green, pink, and orange tones. At the empire waist, the dress transitions to a gorgeous flowing silk chiffon skirt in a dusty pink tone. Beneath the chiffon is a crepe lining in a matching pink tone. This dress closes in the back via a metal zipper. The dress does not have its original designer label, however, we suspect it is a Malcolm Starr. This unique dress is in good condition with several very faint spots on the skirt. Please note that since this dress was photographed, the delicate silk at the armpits was damaged during a try-on appointment. The silk has since been reinforced with thread in a matching nude tone. A more extensive reinforcement can be done by taking silk material and embellishments from the sleeves, which would shorten the sleeves by 3-4" on either side. This repair can be completed at the request of the buyer.
