This is a stunning vintage 1930s silk charmeuse wedding gown in a champagne tone that is being sold as is. The tone of the dress is a soft champagne tone with a high sheen and the dress is in a figure hugging bias-cut. The bodice features a cowl neckline and a seam under the bust and along the hips for added shape and design detail. The long sleeves have subtle pleating at the elbow and end at the wrist in a rounded point and with a row of fabric-covered buttons. The back of this gown closes via a row of petite fabric-covered buttons in a matching champagne tone and also has a series of five tiny metal hook and crochet loops at the bottom row of buttons. The train is unique in that it is shaped in three large scallops. This piece is being sold as is. Please consult the wear noted below as well as the measurements prior to purchasing.

This dress is in good vintage with the fabric being sturdy and wearable. There is no damage to note but there are many superficial signs of wear to note. There are marks of dislocation in the form of a darker champagne tone throughout the gown in the following areas: the right elbow, the left sleeve, the front bottom portion of the skirt near the hem, a very small section on the top of the front bodice, and the mid section of the train to the end of the train. These portions are a darker champagne tone and sometimes have a rust-tint to them. They are a different texture and the give the silk a slightly rougher feel. There are also a few faint red/purple marks, possibly ink, on the right sleeve cuff and on the back of the train. Lastly, there are tiny pin holes, two on the back of the skirt, one on the back left bodice, and two on the left sleeve. These flaws are easier to see in person and do not pick up well in the photos. While structurally this piece is in excellent condition, the buyer of this gown will have to love it marks and all. The flaws do not take away from the overall beauty of the gown.
