This is a vintage 1940's taffeta wedding dress in a lovely deep ivory/beige tone. The dress has a ruched bodice accented with tan thread and features an off the shoulder short sleeve and v-neckline. This dress has several unique details, including pleated taffeta sleeves that wrap around the back to form flutter sleeves and a deep-v silhouette. The back of the deep-v also features a series of criss-cross details for added visual interest. This dress closes at the back via buttons just above the sleek skirt. This piece is very unique and is in great condition with some signs of wear to note. There is a light spot on the right front side of the skirt, and light discoloration on the left hip. There is also light dirt along the hem from previous wear and age. This dress would be perfect for the modern bride seeking a glamourous yet classic gown.
