This is a dreamy vintage 1930/40s light ivory wedding gown with long bishop sleeves in a peasant gown style. This gown is very romantic and is comprised of a soft, open weave mesh material atop a lightweight satin lining. The bodice features an illusion neckline with a crew neck collar. The top of the bust is accented with textured ruffles that continue across the shoulder and encircle the back of the bodice. The placement of this ruffle gives the bishop sleeves the appearance of being off the shoulder. The sleeves have wonderful dimension and close at the wrist via a metal snap. The pointed princess waist of this bodice has light gathers at the waist which give the flowing skirt subtle dimension. The gown closes in the back via fabric covered buttons. The dress is somewhat sheer and more opaque in the portions lined with satin. This dress is in good condition with some signs of wear to note. There are a few petite holes on the left side of the skirt while there is a larger tear on the bottom right section of the hem. There is also a hole near the hem on the back left side of the skirt. Due to its age this dress is not eligible for a return. Overall this dress would add vintage elegance and dreaminess to any bride's wedding day.
