This is a vintage 1970s light ivory wedding gown accented by an lace, pearlescent beads and a pleated skirt detail. The bodice features a deep scoop neck with a lace collar and is adorned with pearlescent bead swirls. The long sleeves end in a lace trim and feature open-weave lace cutouts at the shoulder and bicep. The skirt is free-flowing and has accordion pleating at the center front of the gown. The gown closes in the back via its original plastic ivory zipper and has two hook and eyes at the top of the zipper. There is an additional hook and eye closure at the waist to mask the zipper. The dress is a lovely, light ivory/diamond white tone and is comprised of a comfortable jersey material atop a lining layer. The lace is a contrasting darker ivory in the style of a floral Venice lace. This dress is in wonderful condition with only minimal signs of wear including some markings on the inner lining that are not visible from the outside. There is a seam in the lining that has been reinforced and some pearls have been replaced on the bodice. Overall this gown would be perfect for the vintage bride who values comfort in addition to visual aesthetics and who is seeking a refined and elegant take on a bohemian style.
