This is a beautiful vintage 1950s ballgown wedding dress that is sure to make a statement on your wedding day. It features a soft sweetheart neckline and dramatic full skirt with tiered layers of scalloped, Chantilly lace. The lower tiers of the skirt are subtly embellished with iridescent sequins and three rosettes adorn the back of the skirt. This dress is enclosed in the back via a row of buttons and the bodice sits on one's natural waist. While the designer label has been removed from the inside of the dress, it is most likely a Miriam original and still features an original union label. The bodice of this dress has been modified to a strapless, sweetheart neckline. This dress is in excellent condition but does have a section of lace that has been repaired at the side hip. It also has some minor staining and discoloration on the hem of the lining that is not visible on the outside. This dress was photographed with the model wearing a full petticoat, please inquire prior to purchase if you are interested in a petticoat. This gown would be perfect for the bride who has her heart set on a showstopping gown.
