This is an elegant vintage 1960s soft pink and ivory collared sheath dress with gorgeous crystal starburst beaded details. The dress features a sleeveless bodice with a notched collar, all in a pink tone. The natural waist is embellished with a row of linear beads and transitions to an ivory sheath skirt. The top of the skirt features beaded details in a starburst/geometric floral comprised of clear rhinestones, AB iridescent crystals and round and linear clear beads with a gray center. This dress has its original Mardi Gras designer tag as well as its union tag, which has faded. The dress closes at the back via its original metal zipper and the collar closes via hook and crochet loops. This dress is very clean and in excellent condition, especially the beading. There are no signs of wear, but please note the centers of the beads and the rhinestone mountings have oxidized to a dark gray tone from their original, presumably silver, tone. The metal zipper is also a little stiff and this dress has minimal to no stretch. Due to the heavy beading as well as sturdy satin material, this dress is a bit heavy on the hanger.
