This is a romantic vintage 1950s silk organza wedding dress with lovely hydrangea flower details. It has no label, but is likely a Miriam Originals or Maurer design. This stunning dress features a sweetheart bodice adorned with three-dimensional silk organza flowers accented with pearl beads. The silk organza sleeves end in a graceful point, a detail which is mirrored by the soft princess point of the bodice as it leads into the skirt. The gathers at the top of the skirt allows for a full, voluminous skirt that is embellished with both three-dimensional silk florals and a corded embroidered leaf design. Accented with iridescent sequins, and pearl beads in ivory and champagne tones. The back of this gown features a v-shape with corded leaf details and an elegant row of covered buttons closes the back. Perhaps most dramatically, a large sculptural bow leads to a sweeping train. The color of this gown is a diamond white. There is room to let out this gown a small amount in the front, side, and back seams.

This dress is in excellent condition and very clean but there are a few minor flaws to mention. There is one spot about the size of a dime on the front pleat and some very faint underarm discoloration. Lastly, there is one other faint mark on the front of the skirt that we discovered while photographing the dress. It is very inconspicuous and only noticeable upon close inspection.
